Stourbridge is a beautiful town within the Dudley Metropolitan Borough in the West Midlands of England. Historically part of Worcestershire, Stourbridge
was a centre for glass making, and today includes the suburbs of Amblecote, Lye, Norton, Oldswinford, Pedmore, Wollaston and Wollescote.
The population, as recorded in the Census of the United Kingdom in 1991, was 54,661. Due to its fabulous location much of the population is made up of commuters that choose to travel
via road or rail to Birmingham and the Black Country, whilst residing in Stourbridge and the surrounding areas.
Situated on the edge of the Black Country and less than fifteen miles from Birmingham, the UK's second city, Stourbridge has lovely countryside right on the doorstep, whilst villages such as
Kinver, Churchill, Belbroughton and Clent are just a few minutes drive away.
Stourbridge has an unusual mix of industrial and rural influences, giving it a unique and charming character. Stourbridge town centre features a centrally located railway station and a superb mix of
